Dear Friends As we enter into another year, I wonder how you are feeling? I think it is a time that can fill us with many different thoughts and emotions. There can be a sense of hope and anticipation, a desire for change and new opportunities, but there can also be a sense of fear, regret, disappointment, disillusionment and grief; or perhaps simply a sense of everything carrying on regardless. It seems to me that we experience many if not all of these conflicting emotions at different times and it can be hard to know how to carry them within us. The greeting of a ‘Happy New Year’ we know will not change our reality and happiness may not be our primary emotion at this time. Yet my prayer is that through this year in the very midst of all that you experience, you will know in increasing measure something of this mystery of Christ in us the Hope of Glory - He who has become to us our wisdom and sanctification. |

Dear friends, The last time that we wrote we were letting you know of all that we had planned for this year in our diary of events. As we find ourselves approaching June we wanted to let you know a little of how things have been going for us, since we really value your support and interest in the things that we are about. It would be easy to tell you of the events themselves, and we do have good news to share and stories to tell. However, beyond that, I am reminded that God is writing a bigger story that goes beyond each event in itself. The story is unfolding in the lives of individuals as the truths that we get to share bear fruit in their lives and the ripples move out like the stone that is dropped into the lake. When you consider a ministry such as ours, or you look at your own ministry context – how do you measure things ? How do you look for the move of God's Spirit? Sometimes as we all know, it is simply by being faithful to the next step God leads you on and by walking step by step with Him . |

Dear Friends Newsletters always provide a good opportunity to press the pause button and take stock. It is with wonder and profound gratitude that we look back on all that the last months have held, marvel at where we now find ourselves and look forward to what God has for us in the season ahead. “Christianity remakes our dreams before fulfilling them.” L Crabb - “The Safest Place on Earth”
You’ve heard much of our journey of “re-making” – dashed hopes, disappointment, finding God in the dark places of being misunderstood, not always having understanding ourselves, trusting despite circumstances. So it is with joy that we come now to share with you perhaps just a little of the “fulfilling” of our dreams. It feels like a small foretaste of all that God has in store. |

Dear Friends In the 4 months since our last letter, it seems like Transformational Leadership Centre has entered into a new season. In the past, we have written to you from the midst of an often painful journey of walking in darkness, where God’s words to us were “Wait” and “Trust.” We stand now in a new place of clarity where it seems that God would call us forward with the words “Step out in Faith”. You may remember that back in November we were due to meet with the new caretakers of West Watch (the property in Sussex that we feel God has led us to). It was good to get together with them and as a result, we have been able to book the facility on several different occasions. |

Dear friends It has been many months since we last wrote to you and much has gone on that we would love to update you with. In our last letter we communicated the news of the closed door with regard to the property that in 2001 we felt God had led us to as a location for our new ministry. We received several heart-warming responses to that letter, encouraging us in our journey of faith, and the importance of our vision, and simply communicating that you were with us. We have kept them all and are hugely grateful for such encouragement! That was almost a year ago – a year that has been full of comings and goings, questionings and wrestlings, letting go of how it seemed God had led us and allowing Him to be our all-in-all in a far deeper way than wehave known. In the absence of any permanent ministry centre, we have each continued in our different locations with the key elements of TLC. It has been profoundly encouraging to see ministry growing and developing in all of the different aspects which we had envisioned. For example: |

Dear Friends & Fellow Sojourners, Many of you have been waiting with us for the time that we would know whether we, as TLC would be considered for the property - owned in Trust - which we thought ideal for our needs. We envisaged it bringing together in one central location all that we have been doing over the past three years in our three dispersed locations, as well as providing a place where we could fulfil all that we yet desire to see come about. We visited this property over 2 years ago and there was a real affinity with the foundations and the heartbeat of the original owner who put her investment into Trust. As we listened to a tape recording of her values and vision, we so saw a parallel centred on Paul’s declaration: “It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me…….” There was so much in what she said that struck a chord in our hearts in relation to our own values, dream and vision, that we could not help but sense God in the whole picture. |
