Dear Friends

It is a joy to write to you with our new postcard for the year and the outline of events that we plan to hold.  My hope is that it may sit in some prominent place and prompt your prayers and interest!

This time last year our postcard went out with locations booked for each of our events. As the year progressed we learnt that some of the locations booked were cancelled and we were left trying to find alternatives at very short notice.  In the general run of things this might be frustrating and a little wearying (and there is that side to things).  However as I look back on last year, some of my highlights and encouragements in the faith have come through God’s intervention, His provision and His introductions to those ministering angels who have been a joy to meet.  It’s not been as we planned but it has surely been God showing off beyond our wildest expectations.

Each of our events became something special as God gathered His people together.  This year we are once again excited to share with you our ‘programme’.  They are dates in the diary but they become more than events in themselves as God gathers people to share something of the spiritual journey together.  Each one takes on a unique character that is precious and stands alone as we have the opportunity in one way or another to share in the mystery of experiencing Christ as life.

Some of this year’s events have locations; others are still to be discovered.  We continue to trust that God will make a way for us in this, as well as in our continual need for office space and accommodation for those who come to us from overseas.  We value your support, your interest and prayers, and if anyone knows someone who knows someone who can help – do get in touch!

As a team we continue to meet regularly to plan and prepare for all that is involved in the ministry.  One of the thoughts that we have begun to ponder at the outset of the year may be helpful to you also, so I share it with you.  May God surprise you as He encounters you with His love!

The question is not “How am I to find God?” but “How am I to let myself be found by God?”
The question is not “How am I to know God?” but “How am I to let myself be known by God?”
The question is not “How am I to love God?” but “How am I to let myself be loved by God?”
Finally the question is not “Who is God for me?” but “Who am I to God?”

There is more we could write about concerning God’s faithfulness and leading, and we will do so in the next few months. Meanwhile we hope to see some of you in person and pray God’s presence may become increasingly meaningful to you.

Together in Him,
