Dear Friends

In the 4 months since our last letter, it seems like Transformational Leadership Centre has entered into a new season. In the past, we have written to you from the midst of an often painful journey of
walking in darkness, where God’s words to us were “Wait” and “Trust.” We stand now in a new place of clarity where it seems that God would call us forward with the words “Step out in Faith”.

You may remember that back in November we were due to meet with the new caretakers of West Watch (the property in Sussex that we feel God has led us to). It was good to get together with them and as a result, we have been able to book the facility on several different occasions.

The first of these took place last Saturday, when we gathered together 30 of our supporters (numbers are limited at WW, so we hope to have more of these days) for a day of celebration of TLC’s development thus far. We were honoured and delighted that so many would choose to give up their Saturday and travel from so many different places in order to share the day with us. It was a very special time, which we will treasure for years to come. What a privilege to be able to tell the wonderful story of how God has led us through these last 4 years, and how exciting to be able to look forward to putting on regular events.

Future Dates:

Retreat — 17th - 18th March at West Watch The idea behind our retreats is to earth the truth of our acceptance in Christ in a contemplative and reflective setting. This retreat falls during Lent, so we will use this as a stepping stone.
2/20 Conference — April 7th-9th at West Watch The purpose of this conference is to explore the truths around Gal 2:20 (It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me). The truths of the ‘exchanged life’ will be shared over the weekend.
20/20 Encounter — June 2006 at Holmsted Manor
A 4 week course which will provide participants with an environment in which to experience the truth of Gal 2:20. It will be held in the new coach house development at Holmsted Manor (YWAM’s training centre in Sussex). With its new en-suite twin bedded rooms and lovely grounds, it should be a great place to be in June. We are especially delighted to have Charlotte joining us for this.

Relocation
As we continue to respond to God’s leading, aware of the challenge to walk by faith and not by sight, it seems right to now look to move down to Sussex, to the vicinity of West Watch. There is still much to unfold for us, but we know that we walk not by sight but by faith, confident that He who called us is faithful.

New Staff
On another note, it is wonderful to be able to introduce you to Pete and Sue Elwin and their 4 children (Sam, Jenny, Amelia and Anna). They hail from St Albans but are soon to be moving down to Sussex in order to be involved in all that we are doing with TLC. Pete will continue working in London and Sue will of course continue as Mum to 4 kids, but wherever possible they will be joining in and helping out with the different activities of TLC.

Prayer Points
We continue to really value your prayers for us, particularly regarding the following:

  1. The moves that we each face personally as we re-locate,
  2. For God to gather the people of his choosing for the different events we are holding,
  3. Our continued liaising with West Watch.

If you are interested in attending any of the events yourself, or know of anyone else who would,be, then please do contact either myself (by phone, email or post— details overleaf), or Liz Cox (tel:
07813 933134, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). Places are limited, so bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

Once again, many thanks for your partnership with us in these exciting days—as you support us in so many different ways, by reading this newsletter, praying for us, attending events, giving financially.
It makes an enormous difference to us, and we trust that you know something of God’s encouragement in your own life as you share in our journeyings.
